Ever heard of the program GIMP? It is an image editing software, like photoshop, but free. It is under the GNU license so you can edit it any way you like. You can do so many things on it, it is unbelievable when you start- and I have started to make tutorials on how do do some pretty cool things on it. You can view them here.

I just happened to be randomly filming this when I noticed some strange things happening on the bootscreen…
So, the next thing i will be talking about with windows 7, is logging in. Obviously with new operating systems there is always a new look, which is one of the things i always love. But in windows 7, this extends so far that even logging in to your computer is a pleasant experience.
Ok. So i have a copy of Windows 7, the latest build, and i have installed it on a virtual machine. i wont detail the installation as there is nothing special - a standard installation. So i boot Vienna up, and the first thing i notice is the nice new bootscreen. You may or may not have seen the video circulating the internet of the Windows 7 bootscreen, but you will have noticed it is rubbish quality. Thus, i made a nice new video.
The quality is not perfect, but it is much better than the previous video.
Oh and by the way - before you get too excited, the music does not play when you boot up, i added it for effect.
