Have you ever wanted to record your desktop, to create a video, tutorial etc.? Perhaps you don’t want to download dodgy looking software at high prices? Well, here is a way to do that without buying any software. www.screentoaster.com. And here is a random video I made using it:
I am doing random things to demonstrate the quality of audio, video and webcam stuff. Whilst the picture quality is not brilliant, I think that this is an excellent online tool. Very highly recommended.
If, like me, you upload videos to youtube, you may want to upload HD videos, especially if you have an HD camcorder. However, if you are running Windows XP, this is a slight problem. Windows XP was finished in 2001, when neither HD or Youtube existed. To get an option for exporting videos in an HD format in Movie Maker XP, download http://lopurl.us/qtapfy and save it to your computer in the “C:/Program Files/Movie Maker/Shared/Profiles” folder. Now close and re-open Movie Maker and the “Hencogroup.co.uk 1280×720 High Definition” option should be in the quality settings in the “Save movie file…” Wizard.
A little while back I picked up a USB Missile Launcher from PC World. I’ve done a quick review on it below. It’s also on Youtube in HD so click the link below to go there now.
